Shandong Water Conservancy Vocational College (SDWCVC) is a provincial full-time public university, which is a vocational college with water conservancy as its characteristic and engineering as its advantage, and has a history of 66 years of vocational education. The college is located in Rizhao, a coastal city near the mountains and the sea, with a total area of 1595 mu and nearly 18000 students, including 47 majors such as hydraulic engineering, construction engineering, electromechanical integration, information technology, e-commerce, logistics management, accounting computerization, etc. It is a national high-quality water conservancy higher vocational college, a national pilot unit of modern apprenticeship system, a high-quality higher vocational college in Shandong Province, and the first batch of renowned colleges with characteristics of training skilled talents in Shandong Province.

In recent years, the depth and breadth of international exchanges and cooperation between colleges have been further expanded. SDWCVC has established solid friendly cooperation with more than 20 universities in 11 countries or regions, including Russian National Agricultural University, Malaysian City University, Philippine Pan-Pacific University, Indonesian University of Azhar, Uganda University of Bustima, Korea National University of Transportation，Gachon University, South Korea University, Taiwan Kunshan University of Science and Technology, and Chaoyang University of Science and Technology. Over 20 cooperative exchange projects focusing on academic education, language training, and student exchanges have been carried out.

SDWCVC has carried out long-term and in-depth cooperation with the Russian State Agricultural University and the Russian Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology, sending foreign students to achieve full coverage of undergraduate, master’s and doctoral degrees, and training a number of bilingual talents to serve the strategic cooperation between China and Central Asian countries. II. Entry Requirements

All applicants must be non-Chinese citizens at least 18 years old with valid foreign passports, healthy, good conduct, no criminal record, abide by the laws of the Chinese government and the rules and regulations of the college, respect the customs and habits of the Chinese people, and be in good health. In addition,

1. Fresh-graduates from high school with excellent grades are preferred;

2. Have the ability to learn and communicate in English, with a certificate of Chinese (HSK) level 3 or above is preferred;

3. Interested in learning Chinese and understanding Chinese culture, society , law and economy;

4. Have the ability to live and study independently, with good self-discipline and interpersonal skills;

5. Have a stable family economic foundation and be able to afford daily expenses during the study period.

III. Programs and Courses

Major: Electronic Commerce (International Trade)

Major courses: Overview of Chinese culture, Comprehensive Chinese, Chinese Listening and Speaking, E-commerce, International trade, Online Marketing, E-commerce Visual Design, Cross-border E-commerce Operation, Cross-border Supply Chain Practice, etc.

After graduating from a junior college and passing the HSK Level 4 exam, a relevant undergraduate college is recommended. Admitted students can obtain a nationally recognized undergraduate degree after completing two or three years of undergraduate studies and passing relevant examinations.

1. Tuition fee: 8800 yuan/year

V. Application and Admission

Submit the applications before May 30 of each year (the college starts in September or October of the year).

VI. Admission method

Those whose application materials meet the admission requirements shall take the examination in accordance with the time and manner prescribed by the college. The college select the excellent candidates according to their examination results. Those who are admitted by the college shall register according to the time specified in the admission notice, and those who fail to register within the time limit without reason shall be treated as automatically losing their admission qualifications.
